Summary of Job Responsibilities:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Broker/Dealer Recruiter to explore the possibilities of representing and selling one of the nations top Independent broker/dealers. There is an aggressive compensation structure in place where top producers in the system are making 250k and up.

Responsibilities – Essential Functions:

The position will be responsible for actively recruiting new Financial Advisors/Brokers to one of the nation’s most prestigious Independent broker/dealers. The Recruiter will work closely with the Sr. Vice President and the Internal Branch Development team members to develop strategies sell and market the broker/dealer’s products and services to an assigned region. The position will involve full management of the entire recruitment cycle from lead generation to close. Responsibilities involve extensive phone communication with members of the broker/dealer community; local and regional travel (depending on Recruiters current residence); and careful review and selection of registered representatives that meet the broker/dealer’s requirements and standards. The successful Recruiter will develop a keen understanding of broker’s needs and effectively sell the broker/dealer through a consultative process.

Position Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of broker/dealer services and established contacts with registered representatives. Must possess clear, articulate communication skills; polished, professional phone and in-person demeanor; and strong relationship-building skills. Candidate must be self-motivated, positive and energetic. Approximately 30% of travel is required, depending on candidate’s current residence. Prior Recruiting experience in the broker/dealer community is a must.
