Cross-Search opened in 1989 as an advisor placement firm specializing in the independent sector of the securities industry. Founder Larry Papike was formerly Executive Vice President and a founder of Sentra Securities, which he helped grow from one registered rep to 410, in just eight years. This experience managing an independent contractor broker-dealer is the foundation for Cross-Search’s expertise in assisting advisors choose the right broker-dealer.

Originally established to help advisors sift through the maze of options and questions involved with changing to an independent broker-dealer, Cross-Search expanded to include employee search within the independent broker-dealer community, as well as broker-dealer acquisitions.

Family-run and operated, the group attributes its success to the rare, personal attention it invests when developing relationships with both its individual advisors and broker-dealers.
